"Aktiv für den Wald": MeineWaldKI Challenge in partnership with Outdooractive
On 24. Mai 2025, European Day of Parks, we will be launching a new initiative. The aim of the participatory action „Aktiv für den Wald“ (engl. "active for the forest") is to collect as many forest photos as possible to gather data on the condition of Germany's forests.
Participation is possible nationwide, but the campaign will play a particularly important role in the Biosphere Reserve Karstlandschaft Südharz, as it is one of the project's model regions.
All you need to participate is your smartphone's camera. By accepting this challenge, you will be making a valuable contribution to the investigation of forest conditions. The „Aktiv für den Wald“ challenge will run for one month. The more photos submitted, the better. Every photo counts! Together, we can achieve more!
