The Forest Working Group
assesses, digitises and analyses data on six different forest types, examining their structure, species composition and potential impacts.
Our research team at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary group of experts from the departments of Computer Science and Languages as well as Agriculture, Ecotrophology and Landscape Development. We believe in the importance of collaboration and diversity, and we actively involve the public in our work - whether they are experts or non-experts.
By engaging with the public, we aim to not only complement forest monitoring, but also to raise awareness of the current challenges that forest conservation and management are facing.
Our working groups pool their expertise to collect and combine as much data as possible.
